NAD+

Ideal for individuals who want to slow down aging on a cellular level, are planning to detox, aim to boost athletic performance, or suffer from mental illnesses or degenerative diseases.

At DRIP HAWAII, we start our NAD+ infusions at 250 mg. We give all our patients a mini vitamin IV Drip prior to receiving NAD+ to prime the cells and get them ready to receive the NAD+. We also follow all NAD+  IV drips with a push of glutathione. As NAD+ works in the body, toxins can be expelled, so glutathione can help your body release them.

IV Drip Q

&

A

Why Drip?

Receiving vitamins intravenously has become increasingly popular post-pandemic. Once only accessible by celebrities, Intravenous (IV) vitamin therapy is a method now used by many like you looking to support a healthier lifestyle inside out! While taking vitamin supplements is certainly beneficial. Few people realize that when you swallow a vitamin pill or multi-vitamin, the body’s natural absorption process can render up to 85% of that vitamin useless. In other words, when you ingest vitamins by mouth, only 15% of the active nutrients may eventually find their way into your bloodstream. When you receive a DRIP HAWAII “IV DRIP”, powered by VITAMINDRIP TR the nutrients enter your bloodstream directly and immediately help the body to begin healing itself. You get much higher concentrations of nutrients delivered directly to your body’s cells, thus allowing your body to better absorb and utilize these nutrients.

How IV Vitamin Therapy Infusions are Administered

All IV Infusions are administered by RNs trained in DRIPHAWAIIs’ strict protocols and standards of practice. The general process for the administration of an IV vitamin infusion bag is as follows:

  • The individual will be seated or laying down comfortably.
  • A tourniquet should be applied to the upper arm or forearm so that veins below the tourniquet become visible and distended.
  • Once an appropriate vein has been selected, the RN will thoroughly wipe the skin with an alcohol-based solution.
  • After the skin is dry, an appropriately sized needle or cannula is used to establish an IV line.
  • Once the IV line is set, the bag can then be connected to the IV line so that its contents flow into the patient. The rate at which the bag empties through the IV into the body varies; generally, the IV vitamin bags are set to flow for about 30 – 45 minutes.
How many times per month should a person DRIP?

There are no clearly set limits regarding how frequently an individual can receive an IV vitamin infusion. These mostly depend on the needs and realistic goals of the patient; as well as the patient’s wellness budget, medical history, etc.

The effects and metabolism of the nutrients can last differently in each individual. Generally, most patients claim benefits lasting from 10-14 days. For those that find a monthly IV Drip is most beneficial also maintain in-between weekly vitamin shots.

How Long Does An IV Drip Take?

After your first initial visit and medical intake form, most DRIP HAWAII IV Drip can take 45 min to 1 hour to complete.

Does It Hurt?

Each patient’s pain tolerance differs, and our registered nurses strive to insert the IV needle once. That said, some patients are considered “hardpokes”, meaning their veins are very thin or dehydrated. For these cases, an additional stick (try) may be necessary for proper insertion. If the pain is not tolerable and the patient decides to try on another day when he or she feels more hydrated or comfortable, there is no cancellation fee. Our vitamin shot menu will be offered at 40% off at the time of visit.

Is IV Therapy Safe?

All of our vitamins are FDA-approved and go through high levels of testing. All IV Drips are administered by a registered nurse and performed under a medical director. Before a client receives IV therapy, their health history is evaluated.
Side effects from an IV drip are generally non-existent or very mild. On occasion, you may experience some discomfort, bruising, itching, inflammation, or redness at or around the site of injection, and this could last from a few minutes to several days. However, true allergic reactions are extremely rare.
